Pompeii remembered, Part 2

I’ve added some more pictures of Pompeii tonight to show more what an amazing place this is. For anyone who has not visited yet, make you sure you do at some point on your travels. You will not regret it. The sites of the city that has been uncovered from Vesuvius when it erupted are amazing. These shots done really do it justice.

  1. One of the most fascinating things I discovered was about those columns….I was amazed at how they were constructed….I’m going to have to go back and look and see if I have a picture of one…Thanks for sharing 🙂

  2. I’m actually going there this summer. I can’t wait. Thanks for sharing your pictures. Now I know what to expect. Do you have any advice for me? Maybe on the culture and the best way to take photos (sadly) on a point and shoot?

    • Fantastic, you will have a wonderful time. In terms of advice, I can only say make sure you plan for a full day. There is so much to see & its a shame to rush through it all. Take some good walking shoes as well. The point & shoot will be great, far lighter to carry especially if its hot & you will still get wonderful pictures. Make sure you post them for all to see.
      Have a great trip. 🙂
